Echinococcus granulosus larval cysts - hydatid cysts in sheep lung. Size varies on the age of the cyst and its location from a few cm to more than 20 cm in diameter. Humans become infected by accidently ingesting food contaminated by dog (canine) faeces containing the eggs of the adult tape worm.
